My Japanese-style daruma tattoo was done by Chase, at XS in Rochester, MI. I got the daruma (the round center guy) a few years back and just recently had the whole environment added. It was hand drawn directly onto my back. I plan to eventually extend the whole motif onto my shoulder and upper arm.
Originally, the daruma had no eyes. I had them filled in when my two sons were born.
